Mission & Vision
Purpose
The heart of our business is to serve children at any ability level through individualized resources and one-on-one learning. Even through groups that provide more affordable experiences, we set out to make every child feel seen and help them grow through music to become their best self.
A graduate from the University of Missouri Kansas-City, Bella taught private music lessons in Kansas City neighborhoods with children, teens, and adults. Through doing so, Bella discovered the need for personalized music education for these students in private lessons. Bella served a wide variety of neurodivergent clients, visually impaired children, and students with varying learning styles. Bella prioritizes teaching preferred genres and styles beyond classical music and believes that this is imperative to building lifelong lovers of music.

Voice
I received 7 years of classical, jazz, musical theatre, and choral training before college, and I took private voice lessons at the UMKC Conservatory while participating in the Conservatory Singers group through UMKC. I also studied vocal pedagogy at the conservatory to gain skills in vocal rehabilitation. I specialize in teaching healthy mix voice singing for musical theatre, pop, and jazz. Additionally, I have over 10 years experience as a worship leader in churches— I am passionate about teaching healthy singing for worship leaders and singers in the worship music space.
Piano
For my BA in Music Therapy, my studies focused on various genres including classical, pop, gospel, jazz, and country. I also had an emphasis on improvisation as well as sight reading in piano and other instruments. I completed 2 years of music theory classes at the conservatory, and I always highlight the importance of music theory in early piano studies and throughout.
Most recently, I have been developing piano books that focus both on teaching young children developmental life skills as well as the fundamental skills for early piano. These primer books are now available to my young students, and I will now begin writing books for my advanced students.
Guitar
I completed four years of guitar studies in music therapy at the conservatory, and because guitar is the primary instrument used in music therapy settings, I have been given the opportunity to learn a majority of my personal repertoire on the guitar. I also provide music theory background for guitar and support learning many genres.
I teach how to play guitar by reading chord charts, guitar tabs, and I also emphasize ear training for students to be able to learn songs without transcription.
